I'm sure he'll be smarty than the last guy. After all, he's at least proven himself to be able to take in new information that doesn't fit with his pre-existing opinions and formulate new strategies based on them. I believe they call that 'learning' or some other egghead elitist term like that.
But I wouldn't get too carried away. He's still a bagman for the same interests all politicians are. Give me a ring when he's ready to concede that American Exceptionalism is bunk. Then I might share your unalloyed enthusiasm.
